An engaging curriculum

The College provides a challenging academic curriculum and encourages a strong work ethic.
Teaching and Learning
We place a high degree of importance on academic success and support this with a personalised approach to teaching and learning.
The needs of individual students are catered for through a strong academic focus, flexible curriculum and a wide range of subject offerings.
We recognise that our students pass through distinct developmental and learning stages and we aim to develop students’ capabilities in a manner that is appropriate for their particular stage of development.
A wide range of subject offerings, in structured and sequential programs, provide greater choice for students to pursue their unique interests as they progress through the College.
Differentiated study tasks ensure that students can succeed and progress through the academic requirements of secondary college. Numeracy and literacy intervention programs help to ensure that the needs of all students are met.
Extension Programs
At every level students are offered the opportunity to extend their learning and develop their interpersonal skills. This approach not only enables students to develop academically at a pace that suits them, but it also enables young leaders to emerge.
These highly individualised programs are offered alongside the curriculum and in a variety of age-appropriate formats suited to the student’s stage of development.
Subject List
Year 7–10 students follow courses that are designed using the Victorian Curriculum. During these years, students will study some areas as separate subjects (such as Maths and English), while other areas will be covered in many of the subjects a student takes Investigate.
