Interact Club

On 23 November 2016 the school celebrated the inauguration of the Interact Club.

Interact is a part of, and supported by, The Rotary Club, which is now over 100 years old. Our local Rotary Club, the Noble Park-Keysborough Club, has been a strong supporter of this school, sponsoring and assisting students in a range of ways. Interact is the way the Rotary Club encourages young people to get involved in making the world a better place. It taps into the amazing energy and potential of young people, to give them the opportunity to help and participate in the community and importantly also, to help them develop their own potential, both as individuals and as leaders.

The 22 founding members of the Keysborough Secondary College Interact club were inducted into the club by the President of the Noble Park-Keysborough Rotary Club, Ron Damon and the Youth Director, Rex Carter. Each student received a certificate and their Interact Badge. The event was also well attended by parents of the students, Dandenong Councillor Matthew Kirwan, Rotary Club members and the school’s Leadership Team.

I would like to congratulate all students on becoming founding members of the Keysborough Secondary College Interact Club. I look forward to watching these committed students as they begin to develop their community projects and start making a difference in the world around them.
